In last post i explained about how to create a website. Now in this post i will tell how to publish your website on internet. You need to purchase domain name from some domain provider. Different extensions are available. Those can be any of the following.

How to create a website?

A website consists of certain phases. It includes WEB DESIGN. Web design is the layout of the web page how it is going to look. It can be created in softwares like Photoshop, Fireworks or there are number of web designing softwares. Once a design is created, it is sliced. Web development part comes into picture. Sliced elements of the design are arranged in a page. For development purpose softwares such as Dreamweaver, Frontpage or notepad can be used.

A page is saved with extention of .html or .htm. In earlier days, .htm was used but nowadays standard practise is to use .html.

Likewise required webpages are created and linked together to create a website. In next blog topic, i will write about how to put the website on internet so that all users can see it.

What is Website?

Website is a collection of related web pages. A web page is a document typically written in HTML. HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language.
Website is loaded on hosting space. All the pages of a website are visible under a particular name that is called "Domain name".
